Vocabulary for JLPT N5

? –> ? –>?

The N5 level is the easiest level of Japanese, It is the starting point of learning Japanese and the foundation of passing the higher levels. I started studying Japanese at N5 in 2018. My first ever book was GENKI followed by MinnanoNihongo.

DuoLingo is a free app that i recommend in order to grasp the basics of Japanese study.

Orther books that i really find amazing for me to drill Japanese are Shin Nihongo 500 Mon, Try JLPT, and Nihongo Sou matome series.

Youtube Channels that I had used from day 1 that I highly recommend include:

Learning Kanji Channel

Nihongo no Mori

These channels coupled with daily practice are more than enough in gaining real life skills in Japanese.

In order to gain real Japanese skills you need to have real life applications and not just read books. I think these videos that are provided by real native Japanese people provide a really good platform for learning Japanese faster!
